WIC: Women, Infants, and Children
WIC stands for Women, Infants, and Children and is available for pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants, and children to age 5 who are at nutritional risk. The WIC program can assist by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, breastfeeding promotion and support and referrals to health care. Nutritional education is an important part of WIC and is available to all adult WIC participants, and whenever possible, to child participants and to other family members. Services are available Monday thru Thursday by appointment.
